Adding evidence with activities and STAR

Activities are the evidence layer behind your Dynamic Profile.

What counts as evidence​

Useful evidence is specific work you actually did, such as a project, delivery milestone, process improvement, incident response, customer outcome, leadership example, or technical implementation.

Add an activity​

  1. Open Activities.
  2. Select Add Activity.
  3. Give the activity a clear title.
  4. Add what happened, what you did, and what changed because of it.
  5. Add start and end dates if you know them.
  6. Tag the skills the activity demonstrates.
  7. Save the activity.

Use STAR​

STAR means:

  • Situation: the context.
  • Task: what needed to be done.
  • Action: what you did.
  • Result: what changed.

When all four parts are meaningful, RoleSage can use the activity as stronger evidence.

What should change​

Your skills should show better evidence, Profile Strength may improve, and applications can use the activity when explaining match bands.
