Profile Strength is not going up
Symptom
You edited your profile, but Profile Strength did not increase as much as expected.
What Profile Strength measures
Profile Strength is based on quality and evidence, not simple field counts. It looks at direction, professional summary, activities, evidenced skills, and education. Work experience alone is not currently a direct Profile Strength section score.
Fix steps
- Add or improve Values and Ideal Next Role.
- Add salary, availability, preferred role types, preferred work types, preferred cities, work rights, and country where relevant.
- Make sure Summary has a clear professional summary.
- Add activities with useful descriptions, dates, demonstrated skills, and STAR details.
- Link skills to activities so they become evidenced skills.
- Add education or certifications if they apply.
- Refresh the dashboard. You should see the updated Profile Strength label and completion suggestions.
Why activities matter
Activities carry a large part of Profile Strength because they show evidence. Recent, specific activities with demonstrated skills and complete STAR details help more than vague or unevidenced claims.
