Application status is stuck or unclear
Common statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | You have not submitted the application yet. |
| Ready | Required draft steps are complete and the application can be submitted. |
| Applied | The application has been submitted. |
| Updating | You are revising an application. |
| Info Request | The hiring team asked for more information. |
| Screening | The hiring team is reviewing the application. |
| Shortlisted | The application has moved forward for closer review. |
| Interviewing | At least one interview exists for the application. |
| Offer | An offer has been made. |
| Hired | You accepted the offer. |
| Rejected | The hiring team decided not to progress the application. A published response may be available inside the application. |
| Withdrawn | You withdrew the application. |
What to do
- Open the application and check whether any action is waiting for you.
- If it is Draft or Ready, submit it from the application editor when you are ready.
- If it is Info Request, respond to the request before expecting movement.
- If it is with the hirer, wait for the hiring team to update the status.
RoleSage cannot force a hirer to move an application, but the status gives you the latest saved state.
